The source talks more about Andy's life , but also talks about his work and what it has done for his life. the web site also talks about about how he was one of the one-man shows to exhibition at the Hugo Gallery in New York. It also talks about his Factory in New York, and It was an art studio where he employed in a rather chaotic way "art workers" to mass produce mainly prints and posters but also other items like shoes designed by the artist. i will use this source in telling the good and bad times of Andy's life for example his near death experiences.
My analysis of the this web site is that Andy Warhol was a hard working man and had lots of fun as he did his work. i also see that Andy Warhol was a very free person in all has work. His work place was full of fun and chaotic parties, etc. The source also talks about some of the work he has done and his life. It also talks about his work that was good and some that was not that good.

The source gives me alot of info. on Andy Warhol and tells me what his real name is. The source also tells the Andy Warhol was a well known artist in the time period of Pop Art. I will use this info. to talk about Andy's life and tell the up's and down's he went through to get to the top of his game. i will also use this source to talk about his life and some of his family members and his problems with them. I really don't no what i am going to do for my NHD project, so i am just trying to get all the info. that i can so that when it comes time to do the big project i will be ready.
My analysis of this source is :
Andy Warhol was born Andrew Warhola on August 6, 1928, in a two-room shack-like apartment at 73 Orr Street in the working class neighborhood of Soho in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Andrej Warhola and Julia Zavacky Warhola. The youngest of three sons, Andrew attended Holmes Elementary School and Schenley High School, and entered Carnegie Institute of Technology in Pittsburgh in 1945, where he studied with Balcomb Greene, Robert Lepper, Samuel Rosenberg, and others. He experimented with his name, signing holiday cards “André,” and dropping the final “a” from his family name. He graduated in June 1949 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Pictorial Design.
This is just some of the info. that i got from the source which starts to tell a little bit about Andy's Life. the source is very detailed and i think i will and should get much more from it.

I choose Andy Warhol for my NHD Project because I am interested in the ups and downs he had to get trough to become the person is today, and i would love to know more on the Pop Art Time period. i also would like to do him because i love art and want to no more about it, through Andy's eyes.

This person is important to history because without their efforts, who knows were Pop art would be, and he adds his own design method to it which makes it his own.

For this week's research, I found an article at http://www.warhol.org/, and this website give off alot of info. on Andy Warhol. I will read and summarize it for next week.

ALSO! If you don't have a final choice, I want you to post a few individuals you are considering, OR a period in history or a historical problem that you are researching. We can find the individual if you KNOW WHAT INTERESTS YOU!
