The source gives me alot of info. on Andy Warhol and tells me what his real name is. The source also tells the Andy Warhol was a well known artist in the time period of Pop Art. I will use this info. to talk about Andy's life and tell the up's and down's he went through to get to the top of his game. i will also use this source to talk about his life and some of his family members and his problems with them. I really don't no what i am going to do for my NHD project, so i am just trying to get all the info. that i can so that when it comes time to do the big project i will be ready.
My analysis of this source is :
Andy Warhol was born Andrew Warhola on August 6, 1928, in a two-room shack-like apartment at 73 Orr Street in the working class neighborhood of Soho in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Andrej Warhola and Julia Zavacky Warhola. The youngest of three sons, Andrew attended Holmes Elementary School and Schenley High School, and entered Carnegie Institute of Technology in Pittsburgh in 1945, where he studied with Balcomb Greene, Robert Lepper, Samuel Rosenberg, and others. He experimented with his name, signing holiday cards “André,” and dropping the final “a” from his family name. He graduated in June 1949 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Pictorial Design.
